Vanessa Valdivia Junior Associate

Vanessa brings valuable experience and educational background to the firm, with an emphasis on communications, new media, government and global affairs. As a Junior Associate, Vanessa provides critical support to clients and the firm’s President. Prior to joining Andy Spahn & Associates, Vanessa was a Research Assistant for USC Annenberg School’s Media, Economics & Entrepreneurship Program and a Geoff Cowan Scholar at the Pacific Council on International Policy.

She earned her Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Southern California, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global & International Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has also studied at the Universidad Catolica de Chile, and obtained valuable experience as a volunteer working for the Clinton Global Initiative, Obama for America and Jerry Brown for Governor.
