Jennifer Gonring Chief Executive Officer
Jennifer runs all aspects of the firm’s day to day operations, oversees client services, directs new business growth and develops and manages a variety of family foundation, entertainment and non-profit accounts. She specializes in strategies related to visibility, fundraising, charitable giving, political affairs and issue development. She has extensive experience in non-profit growth strategies and a unique perspective on bridging entertainment, philanthropy, politics and cause communications.
Jennifer has worked closely with Andy Spahn for more than fifteen years, first at DreamWorks SKG and now at Andy Spahn & Associates.
At DreamWorks, Jennifer oversaw all Corporate Affairs operations and served as Director of Special Projects. There, she managed studio public relations, The Spielberg Family Living Trust, The Katzenberg Family Trust and all aspects of DreamWorks’ charitable giving program. Additionally, she directed all community relations, studio fundraising efforts and special appearances for Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen.
Along the way, Jennifer has advised non-profit and for-profit organizations on project development, donor relations, special events and overall management. She has served as an advisor and fundraiser for numerous federal, state and local political candidates, committees and campaigns, as well as charitable organizations.
Jennifer serves on the Board of Trustees of the Charles Edison Fund. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her husband is an ethnomusicologist and writer.
